The room was cozy and comfortable with a soft bed. Being really close to the Hauptbahnhof made it super convenient. Just be prepared for the small bathroom and the slight oddness of the area around the station at night.

I had a delightful stay at B&B Hotel Essen-Hbf. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk from the main station, which made my travels easy. The breakfast was simple yet satisfying, with a nice selection of bread, cheese, and fresh fruit, and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

Staying here with my kids was quite easy. The location made it a breeze to reach the city center, and despite the room facing the train station, we hardly heard the trains. Great for a family getaway!
In my wife’s opinion, a bigger curtain would have helped more with the morning sun.

The location is highly convenient, just a quick two-minute stroll from the main station, making it easy to get around. The rooms are clean and cozy, a perfect set-up for a short stay.
The bathroom is quite small, and if you're looking for extra amenities, forget about the kettle—it's not in the room. The small sliding bed can be a nuisance, and the surrounding area might feel a bit sketchy, especially when wandering around at night.

I stayed in a Standard Twin Room for 2 nights. The room was clean and cozy, but the bed in room 304 slid around too much, which was annoying. It had a decent bathroom but could use a kettle for late-night drinks. Location was great, easy access to the city center and the main train station, but just a heads up about the neighborhood around the station at night.

The location is conveniently close to the main station, ideal for travelers with heavy luggage, and check-in was smooth. Breakfast offerings were impressive, including delightful baked apples. the bed in the standard twin room was unstable, causing it to slide easily. the lack of a kettle and tea options in the room was disappointing for a late-night drink. While the room was clean, these issues impacted a fully comfortable stay.
